Names Have Power
Let’s get to it: The Land Cruiser defines itself as a premium SUV. When you think luxury infused with adventure, you think Land Cruiser, period! It has a certain type of owner and it was our job to create a campaign that is as distinguishable as the person that owns one.
The Idea
Words have meaning, but names, names have power! A name holds gravitas, decorum, grandeur and character. It’s the thing that allows people to make a quick judgement and that’s exactly what we wanted. When you hear Serena Williams, you think ‘Tennis Champ’. When you see the name Obama, you think ‘Hope’. When you come across the name Land Cruiser, you think luxury, legacy, heritage and adventure!
